Guest contributor and photographer Rose Hartman sends us snapshots of her top female fashionistas from New York’s hottest art fairs of 2019.
Most of the art world descended on Randall’s Island to visit Frieze, one of the top contemporary art fairs showcasing works in galleries from 26 countries. With its big-name dealers selling top-notch art, this annual New York edition is a must for anyone who loves new ideas, innovation and diversity, and the possibility of viewing international galleries who only come to New York once a year.
Along with the hype around Frieze is also TEFAF, The European Fine Arts Fair. This elegant Dutch-based art fair, held annually at the Park Ave, Armory, emphasizes modern and contemporary art, antiquities, design, high-quality jewelry and ethnographic art. Most significantly, a rigorous vetting process authenticates the treasures available.
