Alexandra Wendt is a graduate student in Art History with Syracuse University, living in Florence. She has her B.A. in Art History and English from The College of Wooster, and has previously interned with New Letters literary magazine in Kansas City and the Siena School for Liberal Arts in Siena, Italy.
Ariel Brodey is a rising junior at Williams College double majoring in Art History and Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies. Working in Los Angelos for the summer of 2019, she plans to spend her Junior fall abroad in Rome, Italy. She interns at Williams College Museum of Art and UTA Artist Space, a gallery in LA. Though she loves learning about contemporary art, she became interested in writing after a class on Dutch Female Artists living from 1500-1700, and Judith Leyster will always be her biggest #wc.
Cassidy is an American living in London, her favorite city in the world. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2017 with a degree in Film Studies, Journalism, and French. She received her MA in Film Studies from Kingston University and is currently obtaining her second MA in Magazine Journalism. Cassidy has held several positions at a variety of magazines, spanning from ones about New England culture to the best organic luxury sportswear. Her favorite museums are the National Gallery in London and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Cassidy loves reading magazines, watching films, playing with her cat Benny, and petting strangers’ dogs.
Claire is a London-based contributor who writes about art, travel and culture. She is the founder of the online zine, Lines, and is currently working on the Wilderness Archive, an interdisciplinary project at the interface of art, nature and conservation. Danielle Gorodenzik is a writer and independent curator. She is the co-founder of In Print Art Book Fair, Manager of the Africa First Collection, and contributes to Telavivian. She has previously served as the Program Assitant at Artis in Tel Aviv and has held positions at the Israel Museum, Fresh Paint Art Fair, and the Museum of Bart Yam. Danielle Gorodenzik is completing her M.A. in Curatorial Studies at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. She holds a B.F.A. in Communication Design from Parsons The New School of Design.
Jacob Lomas studied Fine Art at Kingston college, specialising in short film and stop-motion animation. He then went on to study graphic design and had posters commissioned by both Channel 4 and Curzon Cinema. Jacob then went on to study Comparative Literature at the University of Kent, graduating in 2019. He is interested in short film within the arts.
Joe Hazell is a writer, researcher, photographer and language teacher currently living and working between London and Tokyo. Joe studied Egyptology and Ancient History at Swansea University, where he specialized in the radical monotheistic art of the Amarna Period. He later obtained an MA in History of Art from Birkbeck (University of London), where he developed research responding to a wide range of critical concerns, including: Edo period Japanese eroticism (shunga), the relationship between the flâneur and the “flâneuse”, the erosion of urban masculinity in modern Paris, and the androcentric symbolism and visual language of Paul Gauguin.
Lia de Souza Sanchez holds a B.A. in the History of Art with Material Studies from UCL in London. She is interested in writing about modern and contemporary art and emerging female artists. Born in Spain but raised in India, her cultural background inspires her writing. She is currently studying Arts Administration at Columbia University, New York City.
Quinn is a graduate student of art history at Tufts University in Boston. Fascinated by gender and representation in modern art, she focuses her writing on social histories of artworks, artists, and art spaces during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Reagan Brown is a photographer and freelance writer based in New York City with a B.A. in Art History and Studio Art from Mount Holyoke College. She has held positions at Nan Goldin Studio, Aperture Foundation, International Center of Photography, and Aleya Lehmann-Bench Photography. Rose Hartman is a legendary photographer for the New York City fashion and art scene. In a career spanning 40 years in a field dominated by men, Hartman has photographed artists, actors, celebrities, designers, and the jet set, beginning at Studio 54.
Séverine Grosjean is a writer based in Paris and Hong Kong who became an expert in the arts after working in Iceland, Portugal, Spain, Ecuador and Peru. In 2017, she founded The Nomad Creative Projects where she met visual artists from around the world and developed international art events to promote new cultural strategies for emerging visual artists, and to make art and culture an engine of urban development, social cohesion , and the well-being of citizens intercultural dialogue. Apart from being an art writer, Séverine has also worked with one of the most important art galleries in Central America – “Sol Del Rio” in Guatemala.
Tayla has recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelor's degree in Art History (International) and will be continuing her adoration for the subject as a Masters at UCL this September. She specialises in nineteenth century French Impressionism as well as twentieth century continental philosophy and feminist studies, which she hopes to further specify as her focus area of research during her masters. She has always loved art and her favourite wine is New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
