ELIZA ALI, FOUNDER, DIRECTOR, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF | NEW YORK, PARIS Eliza is an artrepreneur and thought leader for women in the art industry whose goal is to empower women in the art business and beyond through luxury content, art exhibitions, and social enterprise. She has cultivated many relationships throughout the art world and creative industries, including high-powered women at art advisory firms, auction houses, museums, and galleries. Eliza started her career at Hamptons Magazine and worked at an entertainment law firm where she assisted NYC’s top attorneys and high-profile clients in the art and film industries. Instead of going to law school, she pursued her passion for creativity and became a self-proclaimed art dealer, creative director, and digital strategist. Prior to launching her company, she freelanced for art advisors in New York, worked in advertising for a French magazine, and curated art shows in Tribeca and the Chelsea Gallery District. Eliza received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Art History from Mount Holyoke College, and studied French in Montpellier, France.
ELISABETH JOHS, PARTNER, CURATOR-AT-LARGE | GENEVA, COPENHAGEN Elisabeth is a curator and art advisor based between Copenhagen, Geneva, and New York. She received her Master’s Degree in Contemporary Art and Business from Sotheby’s Institute, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from University of the Arts London. After graduating, Elisabeth worked for major galleries such as Massimo De Carlo London and Gagosian Gallery New York. In 2018 she began independently curating and overtook programming at Studio 525, a new multifunctional creative platform located in Chelsea. As co-founder at Trotter & Sholer she has experience working closely with emerging artist practices. She is primarily immersed in supporting emerging female artists, artist’s working in new mediums, performance and conceptual art. Her curatorial practice actively pursues responses to modern-day challenges such as social, human, material and environmental. Elisabeth has a global perspective on the arts due to having lived in Denmark, Geneva, London, Buenos Aires, California and New York City.
CLAUDIA CHENG, ART EDITOR | LONDON, HONG KONG Claudia is an art writer and curator based between London and Hong Kong. With an artist-first ethos, Claudia aims to empower and cultivate women artists through curated content and creative strategy. She began her art career at Christie’s, where she developed and executed strategic partnerships with luxury brands such as Chanel and Bottega Veneta. By integrating her knowledge and passion for both industries, she cultivated brand alignment between art and fashion, and curated innovative experiences for Christie’s clients. She received her Master’s Degree in Art, Law, and Business from Christie’s Education, and her Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Stanford University. Originally from Hong Kong, she speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and French.
ELISA CAROLLO, ART EDITOR | MILAN Elisa Carollo is an art advisor and writer, with a special focus on the 20th century, ultra-contemporary art, and more recently, collectible design. After her experience with the art world in New York and working for an international advisory and appraisal firm Gurr Johns, she’s currently back in Milan working at a family office, as well as a freelance advisor for collectors, galleries, art fairs, and artists. With 5+ years of experiences in the art business between art brokerage, fairs, auctions and cultural organizations in both the US and Europe, her insatiable appetite and passion for the latest trends of art will never stop her from seeing exhibitions and being engaged with new projects worldwide. Elisa received her Master’s Degree in Art, Law, and Business from Christie’s Education in New York, a Master’s Degree in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies from Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, and her Bachelor’s Degree from Università IULM in Marketing and Management of Arts and Creative Industries. She speaks fluent English and Italian.
JULIE WYNN, ART ADVISOR | LOS ANGELES Julie is an independent art dealer based in New York and Los Angeles who began her creative work in film, where she worked alongside a team of film financiers, facilitating film investments into philanthropic grants and producing avant-garde films with James Franco, Rabbit Bandini Productions, and NYU Tisch film students. While working in film, the transition into art was seamless. One of the financiers noticed Julie’s eye for great emerging artists and asked her to advise on purchases from Miami Art Basel to the LA Art Show, jumpstarting her career in the art world. Taking advantage of the digital age, Julie’s artist relationships blossomed and she began dealing their work to film producers. Since then, she’s been curating pop-up shows in private and public spaces throughout NYC, finding a way to bring artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts together. Julie has a dual degree in Business Economics and Slavic Language & Literature from the University of Santa Barbara, and speaks fluent Russian.
NATASHA ROBERTS, ART EDITOR | NEW YORK Natasha is a communications specialist and artist advisor based in New York City. She works with creatives, companies and nonprofits to curate art experiences and collaborative campaigns. Through the production of thought-provoking branded digital content, and implementation of modern PR strategies, Natasha cultivates public engagement and organic buzz for client projects. She also works as an independent curator and in-house perfumer, curating scents, exhibitions, and contemporary art tours for groups and private clients in museums, art galleries, installations, and fairs. Natasha has a degree in Sociology from American University in Washington, DC, studied Arabic and Ancient Architecture in Amman, Jordan, and speaks fluent French, Spanish, and German.
