The Apollo Circle Benefit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Thursday, October 24, 2019
9:00 PM – 12:00 AM
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1000 Fifth Avenue
The Apollo Circle Benefit is The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual fundraising celebration for young patrons ages 21-45. This black-tie, ticketed event features dancing and drinks in the Museum’s Temple of Dendur gallery, an atmospheric space with an ancient Egyptian monument built around 10 B.C.
This year’s benefit draws inspiration from The Last Knight: The Art, Armor, and Ambition of Maximilian I, a sumptuous special exhibition currently on view at The Met. All who attend the benefit are encouraged to embrace the theme. There will be a number of Instagram-friendly spots, including a special “throne” photobooth in front of The Met’s Grand Staircase. Open bars will feature the evening’s signature cocktail, The Knight Cap, and guests will dance to music by DJ Timo Weiland. The evening will also feature a special performance by the renowned countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo (courtesy of the Metropolitan Opera), accompanied by AMOC.
Tickets to the event start at $250 for Apollo Members and $350 for the public.
